It is already known that 10 eleventh-graders of Vladivostok chose the exam in Chinese. It is reported by "Vesti: Primorye" with reference to the press service of the city administration.

To obtain a certificate of secondary education, high school students must pass the Russian language and mathematics. Another nine subjects-physics, chemistry, biology, geography, history, social science, literature, foreign language, computer science and information and communication technologies-are offered to children to choose from. Students decide which subjects they will need for admission to the University. For many years in a row among the leaders of subjects to choose from on the exam – social studies. In 2019, graduates will be able to pass the exam in Chinese for the first time. Prior to that, English, French, German and Spanish were available for delivery.
