Scientists from Russia and China will study climate change in the Pacific Ocean and Far Eastern seas

On September 5 Russian-Chinese scientific expedition will depart from Vladivostok on the «Akademik Lavrentiev» scientific ship in order to study climate changes of the Far Eastern seas and Pacific ocean.
The seventh Russian-Chinese expedition on «Akademik Lavrentiev» scientific ship is sponsored by the First Institute of Oceanography of China and the Far Eastern branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The main goal of this expedition is cooperative oceanographic examination.
The expected results of this work will have a great impact on oil and gas resources, as well as on forecasting climate changes in the future.
