International under-ice orientation championship was held in Vladivostok

For the sixth year in a row Vladivostok unites divers from all over the world for the under-ice orientation championship. This year, the track is located in the heart of the city.
«The step into the abyss» is a very stressful activity for humain’s body. The participants have to jump under the ice and swim about 20 m to the aim. The blurry waters of Fedorova bay may disorientate anyone and under the thick ice the aim is barely visible.
Divers from South Korea, China, Japan and many other countries come to Vladivostok each year in order to see how’s more tough.
