RESULTS OF THE VISIT OF PRIME MINISTER DMITRY MEDVEDEV IN PRIMORYE
18th December Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited Primorsky Region.
In the Bolshoi Kamen city he got to know with the situation about the construction of the ship-repair complex on Russian island, and after he held a meeting of government commission.
Also, Dmitry Medvedev met with the students of one of the rural schools in Primorye Region.
In Primorye Region Dmitry Medvedev arrived after three-day visit to China, so it is clearly that the Prime Minister gave a big attention to the industrial potential of the main Russian cross-border region.
According the order of Minvostokrazvitiya until the 1st of February 2016 the management of the factory "Star" should prepare the documents for the establishment of another advanced development area.
It will be locate in the Bolshoi Kamen city.
It can help to solve many problems of the further development large shipbuilding cluster in the Far East.
Head of Government was informed that now there are 4,5 thousand people working in the factory.
The Governor of Primorye Region Vladimir Miklushevsky said that now their aim is to engage in the factory the specialists from other regions, otherwise it is necessary to built new houses in Bolshoy Kamen city.
And it is planned through Minvostokrazvitiya invest more than 3 billion rubles for the modernization of networks and other infrastructure.
Also during the "Star" factory visit Prime Minister discussed the problems of gas industry development in Primorye Region. Prime Minister said a year later in the "Star" should be built the first ship.
